What to expect
Placement, permits and how Williamson County local government works
On your own driveway or private property, no permit is required anywhere we deliver. If a container needs to sit on a public street instead, each jurisdiction handles that within its own limits — City of Georgetown, TX for addresses inside Georgetown's own city limits. Texas's local-government structure genuinely varies across our service area, and we never flatten it into one shape: eight of the ten places we serve — Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Liberty Hill, Hutto, Jarrell, Florence and Weir — are their own incorporated cities, each with a complete municipal government of its own sitting inside Williamson County. Sun City is unincorporated but was annexed into Georgetown's own city limits, so Georgetown's city government covers it directly. Walburg is the genuine exception: a real community that has never incorporated as a city, with no municipal government of its own at all, governed directly by Williamson County. See the table above for each location's own link, and see our permits guide for more. If your project involves any digging or footing work, call Call Texas811 before you dig first so underground lines get located before a shovel ever goes in the ground.
Williamson County's climate genuinely changes the calculus here. The region sits in a real Central Texas severe-weather corridor — hail, flash flooding along the San Gabriel River and its tributaries, and the occasional tornado — and any of those are a routine, practical scheduling factor across our whole service area. Any of those can occasionally push a delivery back half a day, and a bad flash-flood watch can make a low-lying driveway hazardous — tell us if your project is time-sensitive around a forecast and we'll work the schedule around it. Beyond weather, steady renovation work around Georgetown and ongoing new-construction growth across Williamson County keep a predictable share of our schedule booked, so booking a few days ahead during a busy stretch is worth it.
Local knowledge
Why local coverage actually matters
Anyone can put a list of place names on a web page. What makes a difference on delivery day is whether the driver you get has actually been down your street.
Our own drivers know that a narrow downtown Georgetown block needs a different placement than a wide-open new-construction lot out toward Liberty Hill, and they know how a longer-driveway delivery into Florence or Walburg differs from a standard in-town homeowner cleanout. They also know what a fast-moving hailstorm does to a delivery schedule across the region.
That local knowledge is the difference between a container that lands exactly where you want it and a wasted trip.
